or CNC machine shop is divided in Cells or Lines, dedicated for
specific customers or part family. Critical parameters are identified
across the cell & needs continuous monitoring. In typical KurtSPC
Network, Data Collection nodes are located near to each machine.
KurtSPC Manager running on Centralized monitoring station helps
supervisor, Real Time monitoring of Key dimensions, process alarms,
Out of tolerance conditions. He can run an SQL query on collected
data for Date wise, Shift wise, Lot wise analysis to generate various
standard & customized reports.
Management
review meetings typically look for summary reports, supported by
details. Very often these reports comprise of production schedule,
quantity checked, rejection percentage, Cp/Cpk values & their
trends over the period. Quality Assurance Manager, Production in-charge
would certainly like to carry these reports at the last minute before
entering these review meetings. KurtSPC Web Reporter runs these
reports on company intranet / Internet, which allows practically
everyone to generate & share these reports by e-mail. KurtSPC
data can also be exported to Excel, RTF, CDF and SDF formats. |
