- OD
and Ovality Charts were defined with their Upper, Nominal Lower Control
Limits.
- Colour
coded graphics gives immediate feedback on out of size part.
- Size
can be captured as MAX / MIN / AVG / TIR.
- Ovality
is captured with the Size in One revolution.
- This
Data Collection is at very high speed i.e. 250 - 300 readings per second.
- Operator
needs to press the Foot-Switch, rotate the plug and leave the Foot-Switch.
- Software
will capture all data and calculate Size (Max / Min / Avg / TIR) with
its ovality and can plot Profile Chart.
- Operator
can see the trends in the Data Collection, and take appropriate action
to correct the process.
- KurtSPC
can be configured to give alarm on the trend, i.e. 7 points up, 7point
down, CP less then 1.33, etc.
- KurtSPC
offers grading on measurement which is ideally used for Selective Assembly.
- Operator
can attach traceability fields i.e. Lot No, Shift, Supplier Code, etc.
to subgroups. This traceability fields can be used for reporting.
- Sameway
Operator can attach Error Codes i.e. Machine Breakdown, Power Fluctuations,
etc. This can be used for troubleshooting through Pareto Graph.
- Apart
from Monitoring Supervisor can communicate with Operator through KurtSPC.
He can send text which will be displayed on Operators Computer.
- This
Data-Collection can be monitored from any other machine on the Network.
All Charts will be updated on that node instantly after Data Collection
by the Operator. We call it real-time monitoring.
