Usage with Mitutoyo Digimatic Dials

Dials are used when you have 20-Above mocron tolerance.
Measure OD Dynamically
OD requires MAXIMUM value as Size. KurtSPC Software can measure
MAXIMUM value from a set of dynamically collected readings. Operator
only needs to see the value of the Monitor instead of Dial. Footswith
/ Keyboard can be used to initiate trigger for Data Collection.
Calculate Taper
KurtSPC Software
can calculate Taper from 2 distinct readings. This eliminates
writing down of values to calculate Taper. Apart from display, it
also maintains SPC Stats for all 3 parameters individually.
Complex calculations i.e. Angal Calculation, Application of Formulas,
etc.
In most cases, chances of recording incorrect data are due to human
errors, like;
- Finding out MIN / MAX solely depends on operator skills, which
can vary by operator to operator and shift to shift.
- Noting down of this data is a time consuming job, again chancing
of errors lies at this level also.
- Operators time is consumed in measuring & ploting charts,
but there is no time to analyze this data.

Dynamically of Bore
ID requires MINIMUM value as Size. This System can measure MINIMUM
value from a set of dynamically collected readings. Footswith / Keyboard
can be used to initiate trigger for Data Collection. |
Usage with Mitutoyo Digimatic Micrometer
& Caliper

Min
/ Max value from n readings collected at n points
KurtSPC Software can take Min / Max value from n readings collected
at n points on part.
i.e Take Minimum value from 3 readings collected at 3 different points.
Footswitch can be used to send data to computer. This is of great
help as both the hands of operator are occupied with Measuring Instrument
& Component.
Complex calculations can also be performed with this readings. |
